With the July 30 MLB trade deadline less than two weeks away, the rumors we’ve been hearing are only expected to intensify in the coming days. The New York Yankees are at the center of these trade discussions, a team capable of being both outstanding and disappointing at times.

Ideally, Yankees manager Aaron Boone will manage to get more consistent performance from his lineup in the second half of the season. However, he may need some assistance from Yankees GM Brian Cashman to achieve this.
Fortunately, the latest Yankees rumors suggest that a potential trade could be imminent, possibly providing the help needed.
New York Yankees could pull off intra-divisional trade with Tampa Bay Rays
The New York Yankees are evaluating their players in anticipation of a potential trade. With the Tampa Bay Rays reportedly open to entertaining offers for some of their All-Stars, including Isaac Paredes and Randy Arozarena, there is potential for a deal between the two teams.
The Rays have been scouting the Yankees system extensively. Rays would discuss Isaac Paredes, Zach Eflin, Pete Fairbanks, Randy Arozarena and more. Lots of names that could interest the Yankees.

While there is no specific information on which player or players the Yankees are targeting as the MLB trade deadline approaches, the Rays have several attractive options. With both teams now back from the All-Star break, trade talks are expected to intensify, despite being in the same division. Given the Rays’ goal to reduce costs while maintaining competitiveness, the Yankees could be an ideal trade partner.
