The Los Angeles Rams selected six players in the 2025 NFL Draft and reportedly agreed to terms with 17 undrafted rookies afterward. Naturally, fans were puzzled when the team later announced the signing of only four drafted players and 15 undrafted free agents.
As of now, TE Terrance Ferguson and RB Jarquez Hunter have yet to sign their contracts. Additionally, the team hasn’t officially confirmed deals with undrafted IOL Willie Lampkin or DL Da’Jon Terry.
It’s starting to feel like a mystery worthy of Scooby-Doo. Did someone make a clerical mistake? Were the contract processes for Lampkin and Terry delayed for some reason? Neither player’s social media shows any signing updates—but that’s not unusual, as many other undrafted Rams rookies also haven’t posted anything.

Could the confusion stem from jersey assignments? Unlikely, since Da’Jon Terry has been given No. 98 and Willie Lampkin No. 62. That suggests they’ve at least gone through some part of the onboarding process.
So is this just a case of human error or delay in official announcements?
According to a Rams media release, the following players have signed (although contract terms remain unofficial):
- OLB Josaiah Stewart (3rd round) – 4 years, $6.27 million
- DT Ty Hamilton (5th round) – 4 years, $4.63 million
- LB Pooh Paul Jr. (5th round) – 4 years, $4.52 million
- WR Konata Mumpfield (7th round) – 4 years, $4.3 million
And among the undrafted signees:
- OL Wyatt Bowles
- S Malik Dixon-Williams
- LB Shaun Dolac
- OL Ben Dooley
- WR Tru Edwards
- OLB Jamil Muhammad
- DL Bill Norton
- OLB Josh Pearcy
- WR Brennan Presley
- TE Mark Redman
- TE Anthony Torres
- S Nate Valcarcel
- OL Trey Wedig
- WR Mario Williams
Interestingly, RB Jordan Waters is also in limbo. Reports say he signed, but he wasn’t included in any of the photos showing players inking their rookie deals—putting him in the same uncertain category as Lampkin and Terry.

This all seems more like a timing issue than something major. With 87 players currently on the 90-man roster, the Rams likely just had a logistical hiccup in rolling out signings. Once things settle, more clarity should follow. For now, it seems like crossed wires, not a major red flag.
