Kaiden Guhle, 22, is a 6’3″, 202-pound left-handed defenseman. He was selected 16th overall by the Canadiens in the 2020 NHL Draft (1st round) and has notched 44 points in 119 career NHL games.
This season, he’s put up 4 points in 5 games and boasts a +4 rating, making a strong case for being one of the Canadiens’ most valuable players early in the 2024-2025 season.
In addition to Guhle, Mike Matheson is also sidelined after leaving Thursday’s game against the Los Angeles Kings.

Factoring in Patrik Laine, you can only wonder how good this team could be if they stayed healthy.
This is definitely a situation to keep an eye on. If Guhle is out for an extended period, it would be a big blow to Martin St-Louis’ team.

Guhle might have sustained his injury during a hit from Adrian Kempe at the start of the second period last night.”
