Latest Update: Louisville top star takes brutally unlucky nut shot on the sideline during game

Over the weekend, a Louisville player had a moment straight out of a Hans Moleman episode.

The Cardinals kicked off their season against Austin Peay on Saturday. During the second half, Austin Peay quarterback Mason Garcia was forced out of the pocket and threw the ball away. Unfortunately, it went straight toward the groin of a hapless Louisville player on the sideline.

You can check out the cringe-worthy moment that followed.

The player’s identity isn’t clear from the video, and he probably prefers to keep it that way. He made the classic mistake (pun not intended) of not paying attention during live play.

Luckily for Louisville, they were the ones dishing out the pain for the rest of the game, dominating Austin Peay with a 62-0 win. But that direct hit to the groin might have hurt more than the one a college football player took from a penalty flag last season.
