BOSTON — Trevor Story is eager to reunite with Nolan Arenado.
Story and Arenado spent five seasons together with the Colorado Rockies before going their separate ways in 2020. Arenado headed to the St. Louis Cardinals, while Story joined the Boston Red Sox a year later.
Now, reports suggest the Red Sox are exploring the possibility of bringing the two former teammates back together, and Story couldn’t be more excited about the idea.

“Just the chance of that happening is exciting,” Story shared Saturday during Fenway Fest. “I’ve played alongside him a lot. He’s as good as it gets. The intensity he brings to a team is a huge asset. I think he’d thrive here.
“There’s no doubt in my mind he’s still that guy. It’s easy to look at numbers and make assumptions, but he’s still Nolan Arenado—a Hall of Fame-caliber player in my eyes, and I think in many others’ eyes as well. So, yeah, I’m definitely not buying into the negative narrative.”
What do you say, Red Sox fans? Would you welcome Arenado to Boston?
