Las Vegas Raiders’ Mark Davis Shared Yet Again More Mind Blowing Words To Antonio Pierce

It’s been a busy week for the Las Vegas Raiders and their owner, Mark Davis. The team made two major moves, trading away star wide receiver Davante Adams and receiving approval for Tom Brady as a minority owner.

Reactions to these changes are mixed. While Brady’s involvement is exciting, the team’s season so far has been disappointing. Davis expressed his frustration but remains hopeful things can improve. “We’re not happy with our performance,” Davis told the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “But the season is still young, and we’ll see what happens.”

Davis took a bold step by naming Antonio Pierce as the permanent head coach, despite Pierce’s limited NFL coaching experience. He praised Pierce’s work in the interim role and emphasized his faith in the new coach, saying, “He’s young and learning, but he’s surrounded by a strong team. It’s his first real year.”

Although Pierce and general manager Tom Telesco are having a tough first season, Davis seems willing to give them time. “They have a vision, and they’re pursuing it,” he said. “It’s not something that can be fixed overnight.”

Unlike last season, a mid-year coaching change isn’t likely, but it remains to be seen how patient Davis will be if the Raiders continue to struggle.

Mark Davis Addresses Maxx Crosby Rumors

With the Raiders struggling and seemingly not on track for the playoffs, there’s been speculation that they might become sellers before the trade deadline. Some have speculated that star defensive end Maxx Crosby could be on the trade market, but Davis quickly dismissed those rumors.

“That’s just not happening,” Davis said regarding any potential Crosby trade.

He emphasized that these trade rumors are not coming from within the organization.

“It’s unfortunate nowadays, but there’s so much false information coming from outside sources,” Davis explained. “It’s not based on anything. I usually avoid responding to these things because it can lead to a never-ending cycle.”

As the face of the franchise, it would take a huge offer for the Raiders to even consider trading Crosby.

Davis Talks Davante Adams Trade

Trading Adams is undoubtedly a letdown for Davis, as Adams was one of the team’s top stars who left before completing his third season.

Still, Davis isn’t dwelling on the negatives.

“This is part of life in football,” Davis commented. “Players come and go. If things don’t work out, they don’t work out.”

With just two winning seasons under his ownership of the Raiders, Davis has likely become accustomed to disappointment by now.
