Anthony Richardson hasn’t played for the Indianapolis Colts since suffering an oblique injury early in their Week 4 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Veteran quarterback Joe Flacco, 39, stepped in and has completed 49 of 70 passes for 527 yards and five touchdowns over nearly two games. Flacco led the Colts to victory in Week 4 but fell just short in Week 5, losing to the previously winless Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Colts hope Richardson will be cleared to play in Sunday’s Week 6 game against the Tennessee Titans. Head coach Shane Steichen has made it clear that if healthy, Richardson will return as the starting quarterback.

“He is our starting quarterback,” Steichen emphasized. “We’re trying to win football games. When Anthony is out there, he makes a lot of big plays for us.”
The 2-3 Colts are set to face the Titans at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.
