Rich Rodriguez adds All-American linebacker through transfer portal
West Virginia football is continuing to bolster its roster through the transfer portal after spring practice ended and the portal window opened—with a major signing announced on Wednesday.

Defensive coordinator Zac Alley and Head Coach Rich Rodriguez secured a standout defensive talent from the FCS level by adding Ben Bogle, as reported by Matt Zenitz of 247Sports on Wednesday morning.

Bogle, coming from Southern Illinois where he played the past three seasons, earned FCS All-American honors from multiple outlets during his redshirt sophomore year while posting 87 tackles (including 16.5 for loss), 5.5 sacks, and two interceptions.
He enters the program with two years of eligibility remaining and has already made an impact with 29 game appearances and 11 starts during his time with the Salukis.
