Despite his commitment to Alabama football, Anthony Rogers is still attracting interest from several teams. Rogers, a four-star running back from Carver High School in Montgomery, Alabama, remains verbally committed to the Crimson Tide.
“I’m still committed,” Rogers told Touchdown Alabama. “But I’m exploring other options to make sure I’ve made the best choice for my future.”

Recently, Alabama secured a commitment from Akylin Dear, another four-star running back from Mississippi. Rogers believes their styles would complement each other well.

“That would make a great duo,” Rogers said. “He’s a strong downhill power back, while I’m more of an all-purpose player.”
Rogers reinforced his all-purpose label on Friday by playing slot wide receiver for Carver and racking up 162 yards and a touchdown.
Anthony Rogers is the nation’s most versatile backs.
Not going to find many backs, you can say, go play slot wide receiver and produce at the level the Alabama commit does.

Rogers is considered one of the nation’s most versatile backs. Auburn, Georgia, and Ohio State are still heavily recruiting him. Although he hasn’t finalized any visits, Rogers mentioned he plans to visit Tuscaloosa and might visit these other schools as well.
If Alabama can retain Rogers, they are poised to secure two of the nation’s top running backs for the 2025 class.
