Just two days after pledging to Louisville, wide receiver transfer TreyShun Hurry has officially joined the Cardinals.

According to a Thursday announcement from UofL head coach Jeff Brohm, Hurry — a transfer from San Jose State — has signed with the program.

Standing at 6-foot-2 and weighing 194 pounds, Hurry adds depth to a Louisville receiving corps led by returning standouts Chris Bell and Caullin Lacy. He’s the second wideout to transfer to Louisville this spring, following former NC State receiver Dacari Collins, who committed on April 19.

Hurry spent the 2023 season at San Jose State, tallying 28 catches for 482 yards and two touchdowns. Before that, he played two seasons at Weber State, where after redshirting in 2022, he recorded 29 receptions for 384 yards and a score in 2023.

A three-star transfer according to 247Sports, Hurry holds a rating of 89 — a mark that suggests strong potential to be drafted or make an NFL camp roster. He received offers from several notable programs including Baylor, BYU, Florida State, Miami, Tennessee, USF, and West Virginia.

Originally from Lancaster, California, Hurry attended Paraclete High School and was an unranked recruit in the 2022 class, receiving offers from Northern Arizona, Eastern Washington, Portland State, and Weber State.
