The Buffalo Bills had a noteworthy offseason. While they remain confident in their championship aspirations, many around the league can’t overlook the significant losses they endured, especially with the departures of Jordan Poyer, Micah Hyde, and Stefon Diggs. The team has yet to make any major moves to address these gaps, but one trade could alter that situation.

Did Davante Adams hint at his QB preference with Instagram post?

ESPN’s Seth Walder doesn’t believe that Davante Adams will remain with the Raiders long-term. In his proposal, Walder suggests that Adams could be traded to the Buffalo Bills in exchange for a 2025 second-round pick.

“Adams is 31 years old and set to earn only $17.5 million in cash this season,” Walder wrote in an August 7 column. “Next year, not only will he be older (possibly starting to show signs of decline), but he’s also slated to make $36.25 million. If the Raiders don’t trade Adams before this year’s deadline, they might lose the opportunity to trade him altogether.

“The smart move would have been to trade him last year or earlier this offseason, but the Raiders still have time to recoup some value from Adams. They should trade him now for draft capital to help the team’s future, even though his trade value has already dipped somewhat.”

Although the Raiders have consistently maintained that they won’t trade Adams since acquiring him in the 2022 offseason, some analysts believe that if the team isn’t competitive by the trade deadline, the front office might consider trading him to build for the future.
