As the NFL draft approaches, teams are finalizing their boards, and the New York Jets are reportedly scheduling a top 30 visit with Georgia wide receiver Arian Smith, according to Ryan Fowler.
Smith was a dynamic playmaker for Georgia, leading the team in receiving yards with 817 and posting 48 receptions, along with four touchdowns in 2024. Over his college career, he accumulated 68 receptions, 1,356 yards, and 10 touchdowns.

A former track star, Smith made the transition to football over time, eventually becoming a deep-threat weapon for the Bulldogs. One notable play that stands out for many college football fans was his fourth-quarter touchdown against Ohio State in the 2022 Peach Bowl, which brought Georgia within one score late in the game.

With eight picks in the upcoming NFL draft, the Jets are in a strong position to select the former Bulldog. Smith impressed at the NFL Combine, running a 4.36-second 40-yard dash.
Given that the Jets recently signed quarterback Justin Fields, it makes sense for them to focus on adding more offensive weapons through this draft class to complement their new addition.
