The Seattle Seahawks continue their efforts to strengthen both guard positions this offseason, hosting veteran players for visits with the goal of signing them. Among the notable visitors this week was Teven Jenkins, a former Chicago Bears guard. Originally set to meet with Seattle on Monday, his visit was rescheduled to Tuesday.
Now, two days have passed since Jenkins’ visit, and no deal has been reached.

In an unexpected move, the Cleveland Browns have signed Teven Jenkins to a one-year deal. This development suggests that the Seahawks either chose not to pursue Jenkins, were outbid, or did not present a compelling offer just two days after hosting one of the top remaining free-agent guards.
If the Seahawks are unable to sign a veteran guard this offseason, they will likely turn to the upcoming draft to address the position.
