The Seattle Seahawks quickly filled their open practice squad position.

Just a day after releasing former Tennessee Titans cornerback Eric Garror, they brought in Him, a former Baltimore Ravens draft pick.

Williams, selected in the fourth round in 2022, played in 14 games as a rookie but missed much of 2023 due to injury. After being waived by the Ravens in August and briefly joining their practice squad, Baltimore released him in October.

Williams is familiar with Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald, who was the Ravens’ defensive coordinator for the last two seasons before taking over in Seattle. As a rookie, Williams logged 226 defensive snaps, primarily early in the season, before falling out of the rotation.

On the injury front, starting corner Riq Woolen is expected to return to practice after injuring his ankle in Week 5 against the New York Giants. However, Tre Brown remains sidelined with his own ankle injury, which kept him out of last week’s win over the Atlanta Falcons.
