EUGENE, Ore. – On Monday, University of Oregon athletic director Rob Mullens announced that acrobatics and tumbling head coach Taylor Susnara has signed a contract extension that will keep her with the Ducks through the 2028 season.

“Taylor’s leadership, integrity, and dedication to providing a top-notch experience for our student-athletes are truly exceptional,” Mullens said. “Her guidance has led our acrobatics and tumbling athletes to excel both academically and athletically, with regular appearances at the NCATA Championships. She is an outstanding role model for our program, and we’re excited about the continued success we’ll achieve under her leadership.”

Under Susnara’s tenure, the Ducks have won seven national event titles in three seasons and have reached the NCATA semifinals in each of the past two years, including a national championship appearance in 2023.

“I’m thrilled to continue my journey here,” Susnara said. “The support and passion at Oregon are unparalleled. We have big goals ahead, and I’m grateful to lead this program. Go Ducks!”

In the 2024 season, Oregon posted a 4-4 record, with all four victories coming against top-10 teams, and advanced to the NCATA Championship semifinals, securing the No. 4 seed. Makena Carrion and Alexis Giardina were named NCATA All-Americans, marking the fourth consecutive season a Duck has received this honor. Carrion joined Susnara as one of only 11 Ducks to earn multiple All-America honors in their career.

Oregon secured national titles in the open toss, duo tumbling, trio tumbling, and quad tumbling events last season, achieving their highest number of event wins since 2019 and bringing their total to 56.

Susnara, a three-time All-American, has coached eight All-Americans and one NCATA Freshman of the Year, and has guided the Ducks to seven individual event titles.
