
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami volleyball head coach Jose “Keno” Gandara has announced the addition of Simone Baskin, Billie Reiter, and Amina N’Diaye to the program.
“This group represents a committed and hardworking set of young athletes from strong volleyball backgrounds,” Gandara said. “We’re thrilled to welcome them to the U.”
Baskin, a middle blocker from Austin, Texas, played at James Bowie High School and competed with the Austin Juniors Volleyball Club. Named the 2022 Offensive Player of the Year and a Second Team All-District honoree, she is set to join Miami in the fall of 2025.
Reiter, a setter from Greendale, Wisconsin, attended Greendale High School and played for the Milwaukee Sting club. Recognized as a 2025 PrepVolleyball Top 150 prospect and the No. 1 ranked setter in Wisconsin by PrepDig, she will enroll at Miami in the spring of 2025.
N’Diaye, an outside hitter from Orlando, Florida, attended Lake Brantley High School and played for the OTVA Volleyball Club. This season, she became her high school’s all-time leader in kills and earned a spot in the National Team Development Program.
