The Los Angeles Rams continue their active offseason moves.

Less than a day after signing wide receiver Davante Adams to a two-year deal, the team has reached agreements with wide receiver Tutu Atwell and quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.

Atwell has built a career proving that heart matters more than size. Over 54 regular-season games, including 23 starts, he has recorded 99 receptions for 1,343 yards, averaging 13.6 yards per catch with four touchdowns. As he enters another season, Atwell looks to continue using his speed and precise route running to stretch the field for the Rams’ offense.

Garoppolo remains a reliable quarterback option. Last season, he served as Matthew Stafford’s backup but shined in his lone start in Week 18 against Seattle, completing 27 of 41 passes for 334 yards and two touchdowns with a 97.0 passer rating. He joined Stafford as the only Rams quarterbacks to reach 300 yards and multiple touchdowns in a game since 2021.

Entering his 12th NFL season, Garoppolo has played in 82 games, starting 64, with a 67.4% completion rate, 15,828 passing yards, and 96 touchdowns. He has also added seven rushing scores and brings valuable postseason experience, including a Super Bowl LIV appearance. As he prepares for another season, he remains a steady veteran presence in the Rams’ quarterback room.

The Rams also made a notable addition to their defensive line, signing former Chargers defensive tackle Poona Ford. According to multiple reports, Ford agreed to a three-year deal worth just under $30 million, with $17 million guaranteed.

After starting every game for the Chargers last season, Ford recorded 39 tackles, three sacks, and an interception, along with three tackles in their playoff loss to the Texans. Having previously played for Seattle and Buffalo, he now brings his toughness and interior presence to the Rams’ defense.

However, not all Monday’s news was positive for Los Angeles. Former Rams defensive linemen Michael Hoecht and Bobby Brown III signed with the Bills and Panthers, respectively, while tight end Hunter Long joined the Jacksonville Jaguars, following former Rams scouting director James Gladstone.

Additionally, the team is still seeking a trade partner for wide receiver Cooper Kupp. If no deal is reached by the start of the new league year on Wednesday, reports indicate the Rams are prepared to release him.
