However, facing Arkansas will be a different challenge compared to New Mexico, and Brown is preparing for his first conference start in Auburn’s colors.

“I’ve tried to prepare like the starter from the first week,” Brown told Auburn Undercover. “Now that I am, I’ll continue preparing that way. With SEC play here, the team’s intensity rises. My goal is for us to treat each week as the most important game, and I plan to stick with that approach.”

Kiyan Anthony updates his recruitment

Auburn basketball head coach Bruce Pearl and his staff are actively pursuing recruits, including 4-star shooting guard Kiyan Anthony, the son of NBA legend Carmelo Anthony. The Tigers have long been involved in Anthony’s recruitment, and he recently provided an update.

Ranked as the #34 prospect in the class of 2025, Anthony has narrowed his choices to six schools: Rutgers, Syracuse, USC, Ohio State, Florida State, and Auburn.

“Auburn plans to attend an open gym next week and is working to set up a visit for next month,” Anthony told 247 Sports. “I’m excited to talk with them next week.”

With two official visits remaining, Anthony aims to make his final decision by late October or early November.
