The Jacksonville Jaguars have agreed to a one-year deal with offensive tackle, his agent told ESPN on Wednesday. Financial details were not disclosed.
Johnson, a 6-foot-7, 326-pound lineman, played all 17 games last season for the Philadelphia Eagles, starting six. The move brings the 27-year-old back to Florida, where he was born and played college football for the Gators. A Super Bowl champion with the Eagles, Johnson has appeared in 62 games (14 starts) with the Bengals, Buccaneers, and Eagles.

Meanwhile, the Washington Commanders have signed defensive end Deatrich Wise Jr. Terms of the contract were not revealed. Wise, 30, spent eight seasons with the Patriots, who drafted him in the fourth round in 2017. Over 126 career games (61 starts), he has recorded 314 tackles (34 for loss), 34 sacks, 90 quarterback hits, 12 pass breakups, five forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.
Additionally, the Tennessee Titans plan to re-sign running back Julius Chestnut to a one-year contract. Chestnut, 24, entered the league as an undrafted free agent with the Titans in 2022.
Last season, he played in all 17 games, rushing 22 times for 102 yards (4.6 yards per carry) while also contributing on special teams, where he played 50 percent of the unit’s snaps and returned 13 kickoffs for 337 yards.
