On Sunday, the Colts began making moves to trim their roster to 53 players. The team announced nine roster cuts, including the release of safety Ronnie Harrison. Harrison, who joined the Colts last August, spent time on the practice squad before appearing in seven regular season games.
During those games, he recorded 20 tackles, two interceptions, and a sack. Harrison, originally a third-round pick by the Jaguars in 2018, previously played 28 games with Jacksonville and 39 with Cleveland before joining the Colts.
The Colts also released wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland, defensive end Derek Rivers, and wide receiver Greg Ward. Additionally, they waived cornerback Clay Fields III, kicker Spencer Shrader, quarterback Kedon Slovis, wide receiver Derek Slywka, and linebacker Mike Smith Jr.
