The Florida Gators have added their 10th commitment in the past 19 days by flipping an offensive lineman from another SEC school.

Tavaris Dice, a 6-foot-4, 295-pound lineman from Langston Hughes High School in Fairburn, Georgia, decommitted from Auburn and pledged to Florida on Saturday.

Dice becomes the third offensive line recruit in Florida’s class, joining Daniel Pierre Louis and Jahari Medlock, both of whom committed after November 19.

Despite being committed to Auburn since March, Dice remained in contact with the Gators and continued visiting Gainesville. Florida’s coaching staff had prioritized him since the spring, and their persistence paid off last weekend when he visited for the LSU game.

In addition to football, Dice plays basketball at Langston Hughes and is a versatile lineman capable of playing all five positions, though he is expected to start at tackle at Florida.

With Dice’s commitment, the Gators have secured pledges from Tramell Jones, Stephon Shivers, Muizz Tounkara, Bryon Louis, Ty Jackson, Jayden Woods, and Daniel Pierre Louis since the LSU game. Florida’s 2025 class now features 21 commitments.

Next, the Gators will focus on recruiting Florida State offensive line commit Solomon Thomas to round out their offensive line class.
