The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American defensive back.
Webb, a 6-foot-1, 207-pound defensive back, was drafted by the Los Angeles Chargers in the seventh round, 241st overall, of the 2021 NFL Draft. He spent three seasons with the Chargers, playing in seven games and recording three defensive tackles.
During his college career at Georgia (2017-20), the 26-year-old appeared in 49 games, totaling 82 tackles, three tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, nine pass deflections, and one interception. Webb was also invited to the 2020 Senior Bowl, where he earned five tackles.
Originally recruited as a wide receiver, the Philadelphia native transitioned to defense as a true freshman, contributing on both defense and special teams right away.
