Just over three years ago, Cooper Kupp delivered one of the most dominant single-season performances by a wide receiver in NFL history. He led the league in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns, earning NFL Offensive Player of the Year honors.
That same season, Kupp played a pivotal role in the Los Angeles Rams’ Super Bowl LVI victory over the Cincinnati Bengals, hauling in eight catches for 92 yards and two touchdowns to secure Super Bowl MVP honors.
Once considered untouchable in LA, Kupp has now officially parted ways with the franchise and is searching for a new team this offseason. The Rams released him on Wednesday, just over a month after he first revealed the team’s plans to move on.

With the emergence of 23-year-old Pro Bowler Puka Nacua and the recent addition of three-time All-Pro Davante Adams, it became evident that Kupp no longer fit into the Rams’ long-term vision.
Despite this, the 31-year-old receiver is still expected to draw significant interest from teams around the league, and he appears eager to find a new home quickly. According to Fox Sports NFL Insider Jordan Schultz, Kupp is not expected to have a “long, drawn-out process” in free agency.
“Kupp has interest from at least five teams, and the expectation is he’ll decide sooner rather than later,” Schultz reported. “It’s unclear if he’ll take any free-agent visits.”
While his next destination remains uncertain, ESPN’s Adam Schefter identified the Seattle Seahawks, Denver Broncos, and New England Patriots as teams to watch in the race for Kupp.
