Tennessee football may be gaining momentum on the recruiting trail, as a highly touted five-star wide receiver with ties to the state says he feels like a top priority for the Volunteers.
The standout prospect, whose connections to Tennessee include family ties and past visits to the area, has made it clear that he’s feeling the love from the Vols’ coaching staff. “They’re showing me I’m a priority,” the receiver said in a recent interview. “Every time we talk, they make sure I know how I’d fit in and what they see in me.”
The wideout, ranked among the nation’s top pass-catching prospects in the 2025 class, has drawn attention from programs across the country. Still, Tennessee’s personalized approach — combined with his comfort level with the program and its fanbase — has the Vols firmly in the mix.

He recently visited Knoxville and left impressed with everything from the coaching staff’s energy to the program’s facilities and player development focus. “It felt like home,” he added. “They’ve got a plan for me, and I like the direction they’re going.”
This is a promising sign for Tennessee as head coach Josh Heupel and his staff look to build another elite recruiting class. The Vols’ offense, known for its high tempo and explosive passing attack, has been a major selling point for receivers across the country — and this four-star standout could be the next big name to join the pipeline.
While no commitment has been made yet, Tennessee is clearly in a strong position. With strong in-state ties and growing interest, this recruitment is one to watch closely as the summer visit season heats up.
Good news for Vol Nation — the Vols are in the thick of it, and the energy around Rocky Top continues to rise.
