The Chargers have re-signed outside linebacker Savion Jackson, an undrafted free agent from 2024 who originally joined the team from North Carolina State.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Chargers announced they are re-signing outside linebacker Savion Jackson, who was released earlier this month. To make room on the roster, the team waived cornerback Chris Wilcox.

Jackson joined the Chargers in April as part of their 2024 undrafted free agent class. During his five years at North Carolina State, he dealt with injuries for most of his college career but had a standout final season, recording 40 total tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks.
The undrafted rookie is returning to a loaded position group that features veterans Khalil Mack, Joey Bosa, and Bud Dupree, as well as promising second-year player Tuli Tuipulotu.
Wilcox, a seventh-round pick by the Buccaneers in 2021, has also spent time with the Colts, Cardinals, and Steelers before signing with the Chargers in September 2023. He played college football at BYU from 2016 to 2020.
