Corbyn Fordham, a 5-star tight end from Bolles School in Jacksonville, has reaffirmed his pledge to Ohio State, underscoring his loyalty to the Buckeyes. Since making his commitment in November 2024, Fordham has stayed out of the spotlight and declined interest from other programs. “Once I commit, I’m committed,” he said, making it clear he has no plans to reconsider.

A recent trip to Columbus for Ohio State’s spring game further strengthened Fordham’s confidence in his decision. He spoke highly of the program’s culture and its emphasis on player development. “Being in Columbus, it’s real,” he said. “The locker room, the culture — Ohio State is a place that will develop me, and that’s what I’m looking for.”

Fordham is also enthusiastic about the arrival of Max Klare, a transfer tight end from Purdue who joined the team in December 2024. Klare had a standout season with the Boilermakers, tallying 51 receptions for 685 yards and four touchdowns. “He’s one of the top tight ends in the country, and he proved that in the spring game,” Fordham noted.

With Fordham’s firm commitment and Klare’s experience, Ohio State’s tight end group looks strong heading into the upcoming season. Fordham’s passion and focus mirror the program’s ongoing mission to nurture elite talent and compete at a championship level.
