BREAKING NEWS: “I love coming here,” Angels Star Mike Trout Sparks Latest Trade Speculation

Los Angeles Angels superstar Mike Trout has experienced a lot over his 15-year MLB career. A three-time MVP, 11-time All-Star, and a likely future Hall of Famer, Trout has spent his entire career in the AL West. Since he rarely gets the chance to play in St. Louis, facing the Cardinals is a special occasion for him—one he seems to enjoy.

Busch Stadium is consistently ranked among the top ballparks in Major League Baseball. Opened in April 2006, it holds 44,383 fans. St. Louis itself is regarded as one of the best cities in the country due to its affordability, strong economy, and central location.

In an interview with Joey Schneider of FOX2Now, Trout expressed his appreciation for St. Louis.

“I love coming here,” he said. “I love playing here. Obviously, when Albert was here, he talked up so much about it. When I saw the schedule come out and saw that St. Louis was on it, I circled it. I always love coming here.”

Trout was referring to his former Angels teammate Albert Pujols, who played his first 11 seasons in St. Louis and became a Cardinals legend before signing a massive 10-year, $255 million deal to join Trout in Anaheim.

Trout’s praise for St. Louis has sparked trade speculation among fans.

“He’s a Cardinal,” one fan wrote.

“Mike Trout to St. Louis confirmed,” another joked.

“Time to fleece the Angels again,” a fan commented.

“He definitely wants out of Anaheim,” someone else suggested.

“Future Cardinal,” another fan declared.
