NFL free agency is about to begin, and one of the most high-profile names to watch is former MVP quarterback. It remains uncertain if any team is truly interested in signing the controversial quarterback.

Rodgers is likely hoping to join a contender in need of a quarterback upgrade, but it’s more probable he’ll have to settle for a struggling team. The Tennessee Titans could be a potential landing spot.

With the No. 1 pick in a weak draft class, the Titans might prefer the idea of signing Him, allowing Will Levis to develop under his tutelage and reassessing their quarterback options next year. Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports believes this should be the Titans’ “Plan A” this offseason.

“Drafting the top quarterback in a weak class is the easy call, and it might even turn out to be the best long-term decision,” Vacchiano wrote. “But if the Titans want to improve quickly, trading that pick is the more logical move, as they could secure a significant return from a team in need.”

Vacchiano suggested the Titans explore a trade with the Raiders (at No. 6) or the Jets (at No. 7), potentially receiving a 2026 first-round pick along with additional second and third-round picks. If those teams are willing to trade, the Titans should seize the opportunity.

He also explained why Rodgers could be a good fit in Tennessee.

“Instead of drafting a quarterback, the Titans could use the draft to strengthen other areas and sign Rodgers to lead the team,” Vacchiano added.

“While Rodgers may not love the lower profile in Nashville, he likely won’t have many more glamorous options. What the Titans can offer him is a team with solid offensive weapons, like wide receiver Calvin Ridley and running back Tony Pollard, all within one of the NFL’s weakest divisions.”
