Indianapolis Colts’ Shane Steichen Sends Clearly Yet Again Another Stunning Message To QB Joe Flacco After Sunday’s Loss

The Indianapolis Colts have had a season filled with highs and lows. Shane Steichen’s squad has largely stayed under the radar but currently sits at 4-5, giving them a shot at a playoff spot.

Despite the challenges on Sunday, they plan to stick with Joe Flacco for now. When asked if Flacco is still their best chance at winning, Steichen responded affirmatively, according to James Boyd: “Yeah, right now, yes.”

However, the phrase “right now” could hint at some uncertainty about the situation. While some speculated the team had moved on from Anthony Richardson, it seems they’re not ready to do so just yet.

The Colts have the potential to make the playoffs, even if Richardson has faced some difficulties. Flacco, a seasoned veteran, is known for his stable presence, but his lack of mobility compared to Richardson means he’s less of a threat with his legs.

If the Colts believe this group can contend now, they’ll likely continue with Flacco. But if losses pile up and the playoffs become a long shot, they might turn back to Richardson, their former No. 4 draft pick. Richardson was always a high-risk, high-reward player, and patience will be essential for his development.
